Unlike other manufacturers, Michi-Craft specializes in canoes. It’s all they do. Michicraft canoes are strong, durable canoes that are very popular with canoe rental places. This is their strongest 17′ model.
I’m the second owner. I used this canoe only for a couple of season before buying a motorboat a few years ago. The canoe has current registration and I have a ready-to-transfer watercraft title.
$600, paddles included. I also have a commercially manufactured aluminum motor mount (about $75) for this setup. I used it to run a 12v electric motor; it will also support a small gas motor. Similar to the one in the photo below. No motor included.
