Description

This 1996 North Port 7 meter rigid inflatable boat is a military spec boat built for the Navy and was used as a rescue boat. These extremely heavy duty vessel are still being built today for the Navy and used for rescue, security and dive operations( at a cost of 140k). This vessel was purchased in Hawaii and shipped to California where it has gone through a major Restoration and customizing.I built this vessel as a 6 pack boat and would be well suited for boat rides ,sight seeing, whale watching, snorkeling, diving, commercial assistance towing or even to use as a family boat or yacht tender. I have worked on and run hundreds of vessels as a Captain and owner of a full service marine maintenance co. and have found no other vessel of any kind to be more reliable and fun. This vessel has a low hour Cummins Recon 5.9 inboard diesel up graded from 180 to 250 HP. Its connected to a very heavy duty Conrad 520 out-drive via a transmission and drive shaft. Everything is new refurbished or custom made. There are to many items to list but the main ones are custom stainless steal, paint, tube restoration, touch screen chart plotter/radar/depth,anchor windless, bimini and seating for 8. At 180 hp she cruises at 30 kts and tops out at 32.5. I am increasing hp to accommodate larger payloads. This will eliminate any chance of overloading the stock 180 hp motor with 8 people on board. This up grade includes an after cooler. You will find no better example of this 7 meter rib anywhere in the world.
